How to make flashcards online
- Type your cards. Put a term or question on the front and the answer on the back. Press Enter to add the next card, or paste a whole list.
- Study them right here. Flip each card, move with the arrows, and shuffle when you know the order too well.
- Print or save. Print an 8-per-page sheet for paper flashcards, or save the deck to study with spaced repetition.
Tips for flashcards that work
- One fact per card. Short cards are easier to recall and easier to review.
- Ask a question on the front. Recalling an answer builds memory faster than rereading a definition.
- Study both directions. Practice term to definition, then definition to term.
- Space out your reviews. Reviewing just before you forget beats cramming. The spaced repetition calculator plans review dates for you.
