Students learned more than twice as much with a structured AI tutor
In a randomized controlled trial at Harvard, 194 college physics students took one lesson with an AI tutor and one in an active-learning class. Their median gain on the post-test was more than double with the AI tutor. The results appeared in Scientific Reports in 2025.
