Which citizenship test should you study in 2026?

There is not a separate 2026 civics test. In 2026, your test version depends on when you filed Form N-400. Applicants who filed before October 20, 2025 generally use the 100-question 2008 civics test. Applicants who filed on or after October 20, 2025 may need the newer 2025 civics test.
